About Us......

Beehive Playgroup has been established for over 30 years, offering pre-school child care services, for ages 1-4 years, open 49 weeks a year (we currently close for 2 weeks towards the end of August, one week between Christmas and New Year and are closed at weekends and all Bank Holidays). Beehive playgroup provides your child with the best possible start in their educational early years. We have recently re-registered under the name of 'Beehive & Buzz! Childcare CIC'.

We are also able to offer additional childcare, if required, when your child joins Reception at Cuxton Infants School and they are doing reduced hours for the first few days of Transition..

Buzz! Club is a fun packed out of hours club open 49 weeks a year. We provide a breakfast, after-school and holiday club for children aged 1-11 years old, providing them with a mix of both educational and fun activities. All our sessions are fully flexible and, by offering a mixture of our services/sessions, we will strive to meet your individual child-care needs wherever possible.

During Term- time: Buzz! Club is open to all  children that currently attend regular day time, term time sessions  with us or attend The Academy of Cuxton Schools.

Holiday Times: ALL children over the age of 2 that only wish to attend for Buzz! holiday club sessions are welcome.  This includes children from other schools and pre-schools.  Unfortunately we are only able to accept under 2's that regularly attend during term time at Buzz! Holiday Clubs.

Our stay and play group - Bumbles - is currently not running.

We offer both 15 and 30 hour funded sessions to all qualifying 2, 3 and 4 year olds, with the option to add more sessions at very reasonable rates, if required. We accept all forms of Childcare Vouchers.

As a Community Interest Company, we are non profit making and all monies go back into the setting to improve the facilities and services that we can offer to you and your children. We are registered with both Ofsted and the Early Years Learning Alliance and work closely with Medway Early Years Limited and The Academy of Cuxton Schools.. We work to EYFS standards, which is the foundation stage curriculum which is also applicable to the curriculum for children in reception year at infant school.

We offer an open door policy, encourage parent partnership, and endeavour to provide equal access for all children and their families regardless of sex, race, religion, disability or background.
