NAME THE BEE COMPETITION
The winner of the Guess the name of our Mascot Bee Competition at the launch of the recreation ground was won by Noah, his name is Buzzbee.

Beehive Playgroup and Buzz! Club Committee and Staff would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and New Year and would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support.
HEALTH VISITOR
We are pleased to announce that a Health Visitor will be in attendance at the setting on a Thursday afternoon between 1 – 2.30, with effect from 19th January 2012. She will be running advice sessions on ‘communication and development’, ‘moving on to family foods’, ‘sleep and behaviour’ and ‘open questions and answers’. These drop in sessions are being run in partnership with Bligh Children’s Centre.
NEW YEAR EVENTS
BUZZ! CLUB - Holiday Club open Tuesday 3 January 2012.
BEEHIVE PLAYGROUP & BUZZ! CLUB Pre-school, breakfast and after school sessions recommence on Wednesday 4 January 2012.
Bumbles will restart their sessions on Wednesday 11 January 2012.
COFFEE AFTERNOON
We will be holding a coffee afternoon soon. More information to follow
BUMBLES STAY AND PLAY GROUP
Our ‘Bumbles’ Christmas Party will take place on Wednesday 7 December 2011 from 1.-30 until 3.00pm in the Beehive Building – all parents/carers and their under 2’s welcome. This will be the last Bumbles session before Christmas and we will restart the sessions again on Wednesday 11 January 2012.
BEEHIVE THEATRE TRIP
A group of Beehive Playgroup children and their parents/carers will be visiting the Brooke Theatre, Chatham, on the morning of Friday 9 December 2011 to see the production of ‘Snowy the Fox’.
Fireworks Night
On November 5th staff will be running a stall at the Cuxton Community Fireworks. We will be running a raffle, and thanks to the KM Group, the prizes include a Gillingham Football voucher. We will also be selling Glow Products on the stall. We look forward to seeing you.
