BALLOON RACE
Our balloons made it to Suffolk, Cambridge and Essex with
the winning balloon travelling over 100 miles!
First prize gave a telephone number only and have been
contacted and collected their prize.
Other prizes went to Mr Wilkin, Mr O’Keefe, M Boorman, S Marrs and L
Pearce - we hope that they will
enjoy them and have some lovely trips or meals!
Tuesday 26 June 2012 – visit to Godstone Farm Park. We will be meeting there at 10.00am, please join us if you can – for further information please ask a member of staff.
Monday 2 July 2012 – This is a Staff Development Day at Cuxton Infant and Junior Schools so we will be operating our Buzz Club sessions on this day. If you require your child to attend please book as soon as possible. Normal playgroup sessions will not be running on this day.
Thursday 5 July 2012 –‘Precious Moments’ will be at the setting filming individual dvd’s of your child on a visit to the zoo. These dvd’s will then be able to be previewed (date to be advised) and then purchased if you wish. Please return the slip attached to the letter that has been sent out. If your child does not normally attend on a Thursday appointments are being made for them to be filmed during the afternoon. Please speak to an Auntie for more information.
Balloon Race – Beehive Playgroup and Buzz Club are running a balloon race, with a cash first prize and various day out vouchers to runners up. To purchase your balloon please complete the form sent home with your child or see us at both the Scoutana (30 June) or the School Fete ( Saturday 7 July 2012) where tickets will be on sale. The balloons will be released at the School Fete.
Wednesday 18 July 2012 – Our end of term party and presentation to our leavers will take place at the Scout Hall, Bush Road, Cuxton. Full details will be sent out shortly.
Thursday 19 July 2012 – This will be our last day of term for normal Beehive Playgroup sessions.
Friday 20 July 2012 – Sessions will be available for parents who require childcare on this day, ie working parents/carers. If you need your child to attend on this day please speak to Jan (Setting Manager). We will also be operating normal Breakfast and After-school club sessions on this day and are also available for childcare for Infant School children in the afternoon, if needed, as the Infant school will be closing early on this day.
BUZZ CLUB HOLIDAY CLUB – This will be running daily between 07.45am and 6.00pm from Monday 23 July 2012 to Friday 24 August 2012. We are closed from Monday 27 August to Friday 31 August 2012 but will then be open on Monday 3 and and Tuesday 4 September 2012 as these are both Staff Development Days at Cuxton Infant and Junior Schools. An activity programme will be available shortly. Please ensure you book days you require as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment.
BEEHIVE PLAYGROUP, BREAKFAST CLUB & AFTERSCHOOL CLUB sessions will recommence on Wednesday 5 September 2012. Playgroup session slips will shortly be sent out so that you can advise us of your session requirements for the new term. Breakfast and After-school sessions for the new term must be booked using a booking form (available from setting) or in a letter.
Fireworks Night
On November 5th staff will be running a stall at the Cuxton Community Fireworks. We will be running a raffle, and thanks to the KM Group, the prizes include a Gillingham Football voucher. We will also be selling Glow Products on the stall. We look forward to seeing you.
